NEWS and MISCL. 1. Tulare Farm Expo- The Pavilions were chock-a-blok full of new "Green" products. Probably twice the number of exhibitors than 3 years ago, and 40% more than 09! Unreal. Bottles of Biologicals, Containers full of Chemicals; Vials glimmering with Value added algae, worms blended with seaweed, biological this and that!! 2. California WATER!!!! As if sent from heaven, check out California's Reservoirs, and 2010 stands to be much better for our farmers and growers! http://cdec.water.ca.gov/cgi-progs/reservoirs/RES scroll down once you pull this up, because it looks blank. The most noteworthy number is at the bottom: 81% total storage, and it's still snowing. The largest reservoir in the State, Shasta, is now 98% of average, and 71% full.
