Seriously, check out all the newbie recruiters running around- 10 yrs ago it was only me and perhaps 2 others here in the west, and now they are coming out of the woodwork! Why all the hiring? Demographics, new technology, new organic materials, new offshore sources, and the Global mandate to grow more, with less! Never been a better time to get into this business. Oh my, this was one for the annals, sadly. Just had a candidate go all the way to the last round, only to lose himself with overconfidence by proceeding to use the Lord's name in vain, not once, not twice, but thrice! Had this person "read the room", they would have recognized the culture enough, but no.... Tragic, stupid, and NOT professional. Let this be a lesson to all.
WARNING- There's a new crop of recruiters roaming about due to the incredible staffing shortage in Ag. A number of these Newbies are flat out telling candidates that they must not work with other recruiters! This is crap. YOU are the issue, not the recruiter! This is not like a real estage agent people. Candidates do not pay us, so they are free to roam, following any leads they find. If you work with Stebbins, you owe it to yourself to explore all leads, even my competitors! It's not about the recruiter making money, it's about you taking the best job for your family, period! Don't work with staffing Pimps!
